Hey…
Yeah I’m back! Actually it’s a good thing! One post I had over at the other blogging channel which disappeared was about John Lennon. You know, the guy who really got what Life is suppose to be about in the late 60′s until his death. John Lennon through his music represents everything that I believe in…Oneness! All of us understanding we are different but at the same time, One Big Family! Are you feeling me?
I came to America when I was 6 years old. I had no idea what color was. I did not look at people and see them as different from me. But as I got older, I was taught by the world to treat others different who did not look like me, listen to music like me and everything else. It took years of deprogramming for me to get to the mindset I have now!
It’s a shame that here in 2008, we act separate from each other. We posses this superiority over others in our thinking because people are different than us. We use religion, race, culture, gender and many other stereotypes as standards to make ourselves feel we are better than others……. What Madness!
I like to view a world without the mindset of better or worse, a world where all are allowed to be themselves while I can be myself. Think about how productive we could be without the judgement of one another. Not using words like right and wrong. In my opinion, Life is a discovery of what works and what does not.
Ok…… I will be back with more on that later…. For now, let’s enjoy one of John Lennon’s greatest music creations. Yeah, I feel his spirit as I write this. This one is for you John.
