Today, I heard that Oprah is taking some heat on her position on religion. She does not believe in organized religion. What is wrong with that? Why is that such shallow thinking to some or out of line? Why does that make her an atheist? Why is it that people have to enter a place of worship to be connected to their God?
Religion in my opinion has caused every major conflict that this world has faced. Religion breeds separation and demonstrates through the action of people that one belief is better than the other. Why can’t people believe and worship the way they individually choose without adding the better or worst tags?
The planet needs to wake up and understand that there are some things that we do not know about God, the universe and the way things work. When we can embrace each other regardless of our differences and start to work together, then we will be able to move in the right direction and one race…… the human race.
A while back, I wrote a piece on the big three religions and it may be worth reading so that you can see how the big three religions (click here for article) have caused not only separation but bloodshed over many thousands of years. Worship the way you choose, but do not look down on others because they believe and worship differently from you. Enough on this for now. I will be back soon with more………
